Practice:
When not providing clinical services at The Stone House, Dr. Chirby teaches as an adjunct faculty in the master’s programs at Marymount University and the American School of Professional Psychology (Argosy). She is also a member of the Virginia Psychological Association’s Ethics Committee and Colleague Assistance Committee.
Dr. Chirby provides comprehensive psychological evaluations, individual and couples psychotherapy to adults and adolescents at The Stone House. Her style is an integration of various treatment modalities within a psychodynamic framework, providing her clients with the flexibility of treatment specific interventions while maintaining a focus on the therapeutic relationship and treatment alliance.
